He who jumps into the void owes no explanation to those who stand and watch.
– Jean-Luc Godard
Into the void Alex goes, where she ends up is anybody’s guess at this point. Even mine.
Again and again, I have tried to introduce a fantasy, sci-fi story to this strip. And again and again, I fall back to reality.
Well not this time (I hope). I’ve been looking for a way to not be tied up to what is happening to the real world, to not have the strip reflect what’s happening in reality. That’s what this comic should be about; escape from reality. With the recent events happening all around, its truly is the right time to detach from reality.
I am also detaching this comic from a straight narrative, seeing as I am pretty bad at it so far. Whatever happens next is really up in the air, as I free myself, my characters and their story from a linear path into the unknown.
Into the void we go.
No clothes in the void!
I can always draw them on.
No, no, don’t worry about it…
But that defeats the purpose of them be deVOIDed of clothing. Heh heh heh
