Slice of 408: Death of Conversation
Apr15
The death of conversation, of human interaction. This is how the world is today.
I stumbled upon this article the death of conversation while looking for a good title for this strip, which is spot on to what I’m depicting here. I guess most of us, if not all, can relate to this new normal of interaction. This is the new world order which, to me, is so sad.
WE have become so glued to our devices that we no longer notice the world around us. This is just so unnerving and jarring, even though I tried to depict the funny side of this phenomena.
My initial thought process in this strip was “What if I depict Alex, Charlie and Joey as millennials? The 20-somethings now instead of my generation?”
Truly, the death of conversation is upon us if we follow this path.
