Love in an elevator, or how a selfie stick is being wielded by one Charlie Fuentes.
This was meant to be a post last week, but I wanted to really take a few more days to create it. I wanted to mimic those wide angles when you take selfies from a smartphone. This one Charlie is using a selfie stick for a much more wider coverage of the elevator.
This strip is actually conceived to show what was happening inside the elevator in the strip “Dear Fat People“. The last panel on that strip was a last-minute add on as I was short one panel in the story.
The title “Love in an Elevator” is, of course, from the Aerosmith song of the same name. It was playing when that last panel from the previous strip was done.
Unbelievable, man! Your art is amazing and your grasp of the erotic is on a par with the greats (like Manara and Altuna)! I wish I could A) magically increase your output and B) write an ongoing comic for you to draw.
But, I will say, I prefer Charlie’s old haircut.
I’m very thankful for the comparison to such legends of erotica. I do follow the works of Manara and Altuna. As for Charlie’s hair, the change is a challenge I gave myself. To stir those creative pulp that settled at the bottom.
Well, you gotta keep it fresh, no doubt about that. Regardless, I’m always blown away by your art. And, without being presumptuous, may I submit strip and/or story ideas to you again?
